Terms of use

Purpose

ScrapeNest provides a web-scraping infrastructure platform via API and a customer console. These terms set the rules of use; commercial terms are in the Terms of sale.

Access and account

• Access requires an account and credentials (SSO/OIDC, API keys) personal to you.
• You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity carried out with them.
• We may suspend access in case of a security threat or breach of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• collect data in breach of applicable law, the GDPR or third-party rights;
• circumvent security measures, impair a third-party service's availability, or carry out attacks;
• collect special-category data without an appropriate legal basis;
• deliberately ignore a target's expressed wishes (e.g. via robots.txt) in breach of the law.

Responsibility for collected content

You choose the targets and purposes. You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of collections you initiate and the use of the data obtained. ScrapeNest initiates no collection without your instruction.

Availability and support

We strive for high availability. Applicable service-level commitments are set out in your plan or contract.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ScrapeNest is not liable for indirect damages. Liability caps and conditions are detailed in the Terms of sale.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the competent courts, subject to mandatory provisions.
